close framing

Our assignment was to find images and take close up pictures of them to fill up the camera screen. We took multiple shots of the same image and had to use photoshop to enhance the photos. We were suppose to show creativity and produce a photo that showed the technical proficiency we learned in class.

photo blog

topleftpixel - this is a collection of photos that range from beautiful scenery to people and places. Each one is unique in it's own way.

photoblog  - here is more pictures of scenery. My favorite is the first picture. It captures the essence of the sunset and the waves crashing in.

mute - I like how the picture contrasts, it's suppose to be a fun, happy scenery since it's a carnival, but a storm is rolling in and it takes away from the happiness.

strobist - I highly enjoy this blog because it has a variety of different, random photos not just the same theme. There's bugs, robots, and people. Such a weird combination but works so well.

luan - This blog is really interesting, for the fact that each day is a different photo. I'm listing it because i like the different angles of architecture and flowers. My favorite would be October 18th.

snapshots of my life - This is my favorite blog. It's totally different from all the other ones. This is one is about someone's life and their kids and the stuff they do together. It's not just a blog about random picture. It's someone's real life experiences and there everyday life. This really captures the true essence of what a photo blog is about.

9/11 in remembrance - This is one is extremely depressing, but true. This captures the true emotions and feelings of all the people that lost family members and friends during 9/11. It also shows that no one will ever forget what happened and that everything will get better.

Diving In - These pictures are indescribable. The images capture the human body in it's most beautiful form. I love the way the water looks and the way they captured the divers in mid air.

animals in the news - These animals are both scary and cute. It is so fascinating to see so many animals that i have never seen before. It was also sad to see them in such terrible states but it was happy when they were in their finest moments.

Falls in the air - This collection captures fall in so many unique ways. It captures it from all angles of the world not just one place. It shows pictures of wine making, leaves, people, animals, and water. This is the most enjoyable autumn setting I have seen.
